Introduction to Hydraulic Scissor Lifts

Hydraulic scissor lifts are specialized aerial work platforms that achieve smooth lifting through a scissor mechanism. They are available in fixed, mobile, self-propelled, and vehicle-mounted types, with a working height of up to 12 meters and a load capacity of up to 300 kg. The mechanical structure consists of a base, boom, and work platform, constructed with high-strength seamless rectangular tubing to create a scissor-hinged structure. Safety railings and a low-pressure control panel are included. The hydraulic system uses an oil pump to drive the cylinder piston to lift the boom, and features an overflow valve and a one-way speed limiter valve for safety. The platform is manufactured using structural steel and laser welding technology.

This equipment is suitable for construction, industry, logistics, and warehousing. In 2024, scissor lifts accounted for 73.5% of China's rental fleet. Industry standard JB/T 9229-2024 specifies the manufacturing technical requirements, replacing standard JB/T 9229-2013 [2-3]. Mainstream models such as the Sunward Intelligent SWSL0607HA have a maximum working height of 6.5 meters and a platform load capacity of 240 kg; XCMG Fire Protection's small mini scissor lift platform is suitable for complex working conditions [4-5]. The equipment is equipped with safety devices such as a level alarm, a balance valve, and an automatic safety plate, and follows industry safety operating procedures.
