Integrated Edge Banding & Drilling Production Line (Case 2)
Project Overview:
In this project, LEEV Intelligent provided a complete hardware–software integrated solution, delivering both automation equipment and control systems as a unified package. The line is equipped with a centralized PLC control system, enabling coordinated operation and real-time management of all equipment across the production line.

Core Automation Equipment Configuration:
The production line integrates a full set of advanced automation hardware, including:
- Industrial robots
- Powered roller conveyor systems
- Panel separating machines
- Panel assembling (joining) machines
- Bidirectional transfer units
- Unidirectional transfer units
- Powered roller lifting conveyors
- Centering units
All equipment is seamlessly connected to ensure stable, synchronized, and efficient production.
Automated Process Flow:
The production line features a clear and standardized fully automated workflow:
- Robots perform full-layer gripping for automatic loading
- Panels are separated and fed individually by the panel separating machine
- Panels are edge banded on both short sides using a double-end edge banding process
- Finished panels are then routed simultaneously to two drilling lines for high-efficiency drilling
- Panels are grouped and assembled by the panel assembling machine
- Robots grip each completed group and perform automatic palletizing
This configuration achieves fully unmanned, standardized operation from raw material loading to finished product stacking.
