Door Leaf Squaring, Edge Banding & Lock/Hinge Drilling Integrated Line

Project Overview:

This project is a customized door leaf production line developed by LEEV Intelligent for Henan Xinming Wood Industry Co., Ltd. and officially commissioned in 2018. Designed specifically for door manufacturers, the line integrates door leaf squaring, edge banding, lock hole drilling, and hinge hole drilling into a fully automated, linked production system, achieving end-to-end unmanned operation.

The production line follows a clear and standardized workflow:

Gantry robot loading → Squaring saw trimming → Edge banding → Lock hole drilling → Hinge hole drilling → Gantry robot unloading

The entire process operates without manual intervention, ensuring consistent quality and stable throughput.

To ensure continuous and efficient operation, the line is equipped with material storage racks as auxiliary buffering stations. When capacity mismatches occur between processes, door leaves are automatically routed into the storage racks. Based on preset system logic, intelligent storage and dispatching are performed, effectively balancing the line and maintaining uninterrupted production flow.

The solution integrates a complete set of specialized automation equipment, including:

• Gantry robots
• Squaring saws
• Edge banding machines
• Lock hole drilling machines
• Hinge hole drilling machines
• Intelligent storage racks

Through coordinated operation of these systems, the project achieves standardized, automated door leaf processing with improved machining accuracy, higher production efficiency, and significantly reduced labor intensity-making it ideal for large-scale door manufacturing.
